37 Integrated Anti-Human Trafficking Units (IAHTU) which specialise in handling investigation of human trafficking cases have been formed in various districts to deal with this heinous crime. The main objective of these units is to collect actionable information timely, conduct rescue operations, and attend to post-rescue care and rehabilitation of victims with the assistance of government agencies and NGOs. Please report any case of human trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation both online and offline, child labour, forced or bonded labour, illegal organ removal, organized begging or selling children.

Laws for Human Trafficking: Trafficking in human beings or persons is prohibited under the Constitution of India under Article 23 (1) and special laws like Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956, Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976, Inter State Migrant Workman (Regulation of Employment and Condition of Service) Act, 1979.
